With Teddy Santis at the helm, Aimé Leon Dore continues to dominate the fashion zeitgeist with their indomitable true-to-NY aesthetic and tasteful takes on classic garments. Their ongoing partnership with New Balance continues to prosper, so much so that Santis was named Creative Director of NB’s Made in USA subdivision! Still a while away (he begins his NB tenure in 2022) what we’ve really been focused on is the recently released NB993 colab. Courtesy of @oldmanlan they’ve just provided us with an on-foot and closer look at the green and brown pair.

Nodding to their Queens, New York roots, ALD chose a ‘beef and broccoli’ work boot inspiration – those being a quintessential part of the city's culture. Brown mesh can be seen laid down as the base layer with premium suede overlays and dark green touches on the tongue and upper panels. Although these have black midsoles, which traditionally aren’t everyone’s favourite, they complement the silhouette perfectly.
